Physical Therapy

Physical therapy assesses a patient's physical limitations and helps the patient recover to his or her maximum potential. A physical therapist assists and educates the patient to regain strength, coordination, balance, and mobility skills. Regaining these skill helps prevent further disability or injury. A physical therapist also recommends appropriate equipment to enhance mobility and safety prior to the patient's return home. Each patients's program is designed for his or her special needs and goals.

If you would like to have physical therapy sevices, please ask your physician to write an order for a physical therapy consult.

Please call  the Physical Therapy department at (805) 652-5063 or 652-6000 for any questions we can help you with or check our website www.cmhhospital.org for more information.
